Sangeet Sandhya at Gujarat Vidyapeeth

NSS Volunteerrs from MS University, Baroda, Gujarat University and North Gujarat University Patan presented an excellent musical evening at Gujarat Vidyapeeth during the Training of Trainers on Gender Equity organised by NSS REgional Centre, Ahmedabad and RGNIYD, Sriperunmbudur, Tamil Nadu.

Dear friends, A news to Cheer. Efforts are started to establish the NSS State Cell at Gujarat Government. Since last 40 Years it was not there . Now in a few months time it will be in place and the activities in the state will definitely rock.

Gujarat Volunteers on the way to Arunachal............................

Gujarat to Arunachal........... West to East

A team of 30 NSSVolunteers  and 2 NSS Programme Officers from various Colleges of  Gujarat and Daman  had left for Arunachal Pradesh (Roing) under the programme Youth to Edge organised by NSS,  Ministry of Youth Affairs &Sports, GoI and DoNER, GoI.

All will experience the rich heritage and tradition of Arunachal Pradesh and also take part in Adsventure activities.

Now they are on train and will continue the journey for 5 days all together .

Wish a safe journey and happy arrival at Tinsukhiya. (Assam) the Base Camp. 

Young Performers of NSS at Vidyapeeth

There is a concert planned at Gujarat Vidyapeeth on 22 February,2012 at 7.00 PM . In this more than 10 emerging artists of Gujarat will perform who are also our Volunteers.

Some of them have already performed internationally.

This event is planned duiring the Zonal Workshop of Gender Equity .

Now 50 Programme Officers and NGO workers from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat , Rajasthan and Daman& Diu are participating in this workshop.

All are invited to this event.

Mega Camp of NSS in Gujarat for 3 Days

There will be a three days camp for 1000 students ( including NSS volunteeers) one from each Colleg in Gujarat . The participants will be provided ample opportunities to explore their talent and will also be oriented about various aspects of Education as well as personality development and community services.

Inmterested volunteers can immediately contact their PO and Principal as there is very short time to register themselves.

State Level Workshop for NSS Programme Officers on Social Harmony and Unity

A week long workshop is planned to be organised for 30 Programme Officers of NSS and 10 members from the NGOs at MS University, Vadodara on Social Harmony and Unity .

The dates are from 19-23 December,2011.

Shri Kamal Kumar Kar, Youth Officer & Regional Head of NSS Gujarat  and Dr M N Parmar, Dean of Faculty of Social Work and Programme Coordinator, NSS, MS University, Baroda are planning for this workshop which is organised by RGNIYD in collaboration with NSS .
